My apartment complex supposedly has a backup generator as well so that might be my saving grace.This is a remote position and is open to candidates anywhere in Puerto Rico. My only concern before getting here was/is power outages from high winds or whatever but I haven't experienced that yet and from what I read.when it does happen it is usually only for a very short-time. I have been working remotely from San Juan for a couple of months and love it. I'm originally from Missouri and prices are pretty much in-line with what is offered there. I think most of the internet providers include an option for a gigabit internet if that is what you're looking for. And like-wise, if your destination will be some rural area, then you can expect limited choices and possibly shoddy service. If you are in a bigger city or population dense area, then you will have greater access and choices to a variety of internet providers.
Assuming you are from the states, PR's internet services are identically comparable to any other area in the U.S.
